The Townships Trail highlights the architectural and natural heritage of the Eastern Townships.


Some of our golf courses are regularly visited by foxes or geese, while others offer a clear view of mountains, lakes and rivers. There are those whose flora is lush, at times wild, or even formally structured.


Imagine this: You’re cycling the beautiful countryside of the Townships and the apple trees and lilacs are in full bloom. Trees are bursting with buds and flowers are stretching towards the sun.


« Hey Mom, Dad, what are we gonna do? » How many times have you heard that question – maybe even more often than « So what’s for supper? » Looking for ideas?


A unique visual arts event in Canada. Ten artists will create, before the public, artworks from ten 3-ton blocks of local granite.

    Towns and villages : Discover Magog!
    Located at the northern end of Lake Memphremagog, this hamlet flourished in the 19th century thanks to the contruction of flour, saw and card mills by Ralph Merry III, the founder of Magog. Arriving in the region around 1797, he constructed the first dam on the north side of the river, between an island and a stream...



    Blue-Green Algae Update
    Several regions of Quebec, including the Eastern Townships, have experienced abnormally high levels of blue-green algae blooms. This is a localized phenomenon and extremely variable from one day to another. To find updated governmental information, click here.
