Parc national de la Yamaska

1780, boul. David-Bouchard, Roxton Pond, Quebec J0E 1Z0 (Directions and nearest interest points)

Beautiful site which groups a variety of habitats, the Yamaska National Park preserves a nice representative sample of the natural region of Appalachian lowlands. The park offers many areas for bird watching. Fields, young woodlands and mature forests form mosaic vegetation. The presence of a body of water at the center of a vast park adds to this attraction, The Choiniere Reservoir, and attracts about a third of the 234 species already observed within the park boundaries.
