Mount Orford Park welcomes visitors to its mature forests! Whether you’re there for a walk, bike ride, camping, skiing, or snowshoeing, you’ll love discovering this park! We invite you to participate in our family activities animated by park wardens. We also offer boat rentals, from May to October, at Lakes Stukely and Fraser as well as at the “Étang aux Cerises”. During winter, visitors can rent, at a small cost, ski or snowshoe equipment or crampons. Please note that an access fee is required for adults only. Reduced rates are available for groups. Annual access pass available.

Beaches


Two supervised beaches with services welcome swimmers at Mont-Orford National Park: Lac-Stukely beach and Lake Fraser beach. Playground for children accessible to visitors. Boat rental at both beaches and at Le Cerisier service centre.

Cross-Country Skiing and Snowshoeing


Put on your snowshoes and skis and come discover the beautiful winter wonderland of Parc national du Mont-Orford! Cross-country ski enthusiasts will enjoy 15 trails totaling 50 km of trails, including 26 km for skating. These trails are marked, packed and groomed so that all level of skiers finds the trail that suits their need. Snowshoe lovers will enjoy more than 50 km of marked trails leading to snowy peaks.

Hiking networks


Hiking is definitely the best way to discover Parc national du Mont-Orford. It's the perfect way to get access to numerous viewpoints, which are said to be among the most spectacular of the Eastern Townships region. In the fall, the forest presents a show featuring the flamboyant colours of the sugar maples. The park is notably home to white-tailed deer and Great Blue Heron, which you can observe in their natural habitat. There is also a large variety of amphibian and reptile species. Come winter, the park is a destination of choice for cross country skiing and snowshoeing fans. There are lots of summer attractions for visitors: cycling trails, beaches, boat rentals, and discovery activities, while the diversity of accommodation facilities will appeal to a broad range of personalities: campgrounds, ready-to-camp facilities, huts, rustic shelters, and nature cabins.
