Parc régional du Marécage-des-Scots

A 16 km winding and gravel trail in the forest, perfect for a family hike. Beginning at Walter-MacKenzie Park in Scotstown, enjoy many stops, first on the banks of the Rivière-au-Saumon then along the McLeod Creek: interpretation panels, picnic tables, panoramic views and our famous "log hauler." Continue your walk an additional 4.5 km in the Franceville sector in the Mont-Mégantic National Park. On your way back, take time to stroll through the charming village of Scotstown and its famous delicatessen! Cool off with water games, rent a boat and navigate through a surprising ecosystem. 40 minutes from Sherbrooke, no access fees or parking fees, you will spend a beautiful day in a region to discover!
