Théâtre La Marjolaine

55, chemin du Théâtre, Eastman, Quebec J0E 1P0 (Directions and nearest interest points)

The Marjolaine Theatre was founded in 1960 by a group of actors, including Marjolaine Héber, who was the owner from 1967 to 2003, when the theatre took its current name. The first French-Canadian musical comedy was staged here in 1964 by Claude Leveillée and Louis-Georges Carrier: Doux Temps des Amours. Marc-André Coallier became owner in 2003. The Marjolaine is a 300-seat theatre, a 130-seat performance studio (the “Piano Rouge”), a 150-seat covered terrace (the Marquise) and an enchanting site for unforgettable events!
