The Perfect Ski Day at Mont SUTTON

Published on Jan 25, 2024

A very diversified playground with 60 trails and 204 junctions, Mont SUTTON rises from the heart of a breathtaking natural environment. Some of the best glades in Canada, a warm and authentic atmosphere, a generous snowy microclimate ... these are just a few of the mountain’s assets. To find out more and enjoy a perfect day on the slopes, follow the guide!

For All Early Birds!

If you want to be the first on the slopes arrive at the resort early in the morning and have breakfast here. For those with big appetites, the “skier’s breakfast” is a resort classic. The cafeteria of the main chalet, offers several other options, including the omelette of the day, a new addition to the menu.

A Personal Guided Tour in the Morning

If you’re new to these slopes, a tour with one of the resort’s ambassador guides is a must. Join the first departure at 9:30 a.m., at the foot of chairlift II, and discover the trails and all the beauty of Mont SUTTON. Thanks to these ambassador guides, you’ll be able to better navigate the mountain and learn how to combine junctions to turn each descent into a new adventure. You’ll meet some truly passionate people who’ll show you the best runs for your level.

Your Turn to Explore!

All the trails have been planned and designed to offer a varied and fun experience starting with a naturally divided terrain: to the west, the intermediate-beginner terrain and to the east, the intermediate-expert sector. Keep this in mind as you explore the mountain! Are you fond of glade trails? Here, you’ll find plenty of them in all categories, covering 45% of the ski area! Experts can take to the Bou-Bou and its neighbouring slopes, while the less intrepid will have plenty of fun on the Caprice and its sister trails.

Take a Moment to Relax at the Summit

Need a break or perhaps a chance to warm up? The Chalet Alt. 840 m, nestled on the roof of the mountain, is just the place. Feet by the fire, eyes gazing out over the landscape, a comforting beverage in your hand... Could you ask for a better ski break? Not really ... unless you’re feeling a bit hungry! Then hot chilli served in a bread bowl is the perfect addition to your break!

How About a Sculpture Treasure Hunt?

Back on the slopes, make your way down to admire some of the mountain sculptures installed in the middle of nature. The tree frog, the porcupine family, the bear cub, the squirrel... All these sculptures are the works of art of talented and passionate local artists. Seeing these sculptures integrated into the winter landscape is one of the activities that make your SUTTON experience unique. To find them more easily, consult the trail map, where they’ve been identified!

A Festive Après-Ski

Located on the second floor of the main chalet, the bar Le Tucker is without a doubt the best place to end your day. Beers, cocktails, après-ski eats, a section by the fireplace or a terrace for those fine spring days, there’s everything you need to round off your day in style. Psst! Don’t miss Open Mic Thursdays and Music Fridays, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. when a contagious fever of fun takes over the entire place!

Mont SUTTON is undeniably more than a mountain, it’s an experience to be enjoyed from every angle. Come and discover it for yourself!
