Taking Your Time... As a Couple

Would you like to spend a relaxing day with your lover? Opt for the Romantique Circuit, where discovery and splendour will be your main focus. Your getaway begins with a visit to the beautiful Ulverton Woolen Mill dating back to 1850 (remember to call before coming since this site will be opening at the end of April). Are you more interested in outdoors outings? Following this itinerary, you can also enjoy a stroll around the Kinsgbury Marsh, a magnificent and relatively uncrowded place, and end your day with a pint of beer at L’Ardoise, a brewery cooperative in Richmond. Are you more interested in culturals outings? End your day with a show at the Richmond Art Centre. Combining cultural heritage, fine wines and a walk in the open air is a winning formula for rekindling the love you feel for your other half ... and for the region! And if you feel like spending the night in the region, you can stay at Camping Pura Vida, which offers a range of ready-to-camp accommodations.

Taking Your Time... As a Family

The early bird catches the fish! Reserve your equipment and go fishing early in the morning at Domaine du Lac-Brompton.

Children wanting more? Visit the J. Armand Bombardier Ingenuity Museum to discover the history of the invention of the snowmobile in exhibitions designed for adults with great attention to the little ones.

On your way, stop for lunch at Fromagerie Nouvelle-France or at the bakery Au cœur du pain.

Taking Your Time... Cycling

Cyclists know: You always get more out of the scenery and atmosphere of a place when you can visit it on two wheels! To appreciate the beauty of the valleys and rural landscapes of Val Saint-François, try the one-day Agro-Vélo circuit. Before getting on your bike, stop off at the Lussier Belgians Farm, where horses, educational activities and a farmers’ market await you. You can then set off to explore the Vallée cycle path, an easy 23 km ride set against a backdrop of agricultural landscapes. Perfectly relaxing!

There are plenty of other tourist routes in Val Saint-François to help you unwind and revitalize your spirit.... With its rich built heritage, beautiful agricultural landscapes, top-quality local products and fresh air, we must strongly suggest that you come for a visit!
