12 Hiking Outings in the Eastern TownshipsWhat to do this weekend?

Vous n’êtes pas du genre à prévoir des semaines à l’avance? Aucun problème, on a pensé à vous. Quels que soient vos goûts, vous tomberez sûrement sous le charme de l’une ou l’autre de nos suggestions.
Marcher et défendre une cause… en même temps
Dans le cadre du projet Northern Pass, Hydro Québec veut faire passer une ligne aérienne à haute tension en plein cœur d’un milieu naturel protégé et d’un paysage qui fait la fierté de la région : la région Hereford. En guise de protestation pacifique, la coalition SOS Mont Hereford organise une randonnée samedi. Apportez votre couverture et votre lunch à midi pour partager un pique-nique avec tous les participants, puis choisissez entre les trois randonnées proposées (1,8 et 12 km). Cliquez ici pour vous inscrire. Bien entendu, vous pouvez aussi aller marcher dans les sentiers sans participer à l’événement, la beauté des lieux en vaut largement la peine.
Prendre la clé des champs
Si La Clé des Champs de Dunham fête son 20ème anniversaire cette année, ce n’est pas sans raison. L’événement a vraiment tout pour plaire : de l’ambiance, de l’animation et des exposants qui feront étalage de leurs produits uniques. Ils seront une soixantaine en fin de semaine, dont plusieurs vignobles tels ceux d’Union Libre, l’Orpailleurs, de la Bauge, Val Caudalies, etc. Bref, La Route des vins sera très bien représentée. Vous ne serez toutefois pas en reste devant les autres kiosques, loin de là. Attention parce que vous risquez fort de succomber aux viandes, épices, marinades, pâtisseries, bières, vêtements, crèmes, produits artisanaux, etc. À ne pas manquer non plus : le fameux Combat des chefs, durant lequel 12 chefs joueront de créativité avec des produits d’ici, pour inventer LA recette pour laquelle les visiteurs auront eu un coup de cœur.
S’initier à la pêche
Organisée par le ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs, la Fête de la pêche permet, pendant trois jours (2,3 et 4 juin), de pêcher sans avoir besoin de se procurer un permis, et ce, un peu partout au Québec (où la pêche est permise, bien entendu!). Pour l’occasion, des activités, surtout destinées aux petits pêcheurs en herbe, sont prévues à l’agenda de plusieurs villes de la province, dont Sherbrooke, Magog et Coaticook, pour ne nommer que celles-là. Pour avoir un aperçu de toutes les activités, on consulte le site web du ministère.
Aller boire du rosé au marché
C’est samedi, de 9 à 13 h, que le Marché Locavore, à Racine, lance officiellement sa neuvième saison. Pour l’occasion, l’événement Printemps Rosé est de retour. Six vignobles viendront vous offrir leurs meilleurs rosés; une chance aussi de faire vos réserves pour la belle saison! Cette année, le marché accueille plusieurs nouveaux producteurs (herbes Orford, les Charmantes Grenouilles et leurs sauces épicées, l’érablière Ferland, Martine à la campagne et ses conserves, etc.). Faites le crochet jusqu’au marché… et apportez un très, très grand sac pour vos emplettes!
Découvrir un excellent restaurant… à moindre coût
La Petite tablée Estrie-Montérégie vous permet de profiter d’un deux pour un dans huit restaurants des deux régions. Ici, dans les Cantons-de-l’Est, il s’agit de L’Entre’Amis, le Lo Ré, le Madrigal et le Pierre de feu, à l’Estrimont. Des tables à découvrir ou à redécouvrir, et à partager avec une personne chère. L’événement est organisé par Tuango et est valide jusqu’au 15 juillet 2017.
