Vous n’êtes pas du genre à prévoir des semaines à l’avance? Aucun problème, on a pensé à vous. Quels que soient vos goûts, vous tomberez sûrement sous le charme de l’une ou l’autre de nos suggestions.
Visiter un lieu enchanteur
Samedi, de 10 à 15 h, le Manoir Maplewood ouvre ses portes au grand public. Dans le but d’amasser de l’argent pour la Fondation Entraide-Jeunesse François Godbout, vous pourrez visiter ce magnifique bâtiment historique, récemment rénové, ainsi que les jardins jouxtant les lieux. Il vous en coutera 5$ (gratuit pour les moins de 12 ans), et les fonds seront versés aux écoles de Waterloo.
Bien manger, bien boire, bien s’amuser
L’événement Sherbrooke t’en bouche un coin récidive pour une quatrième fois cette année. De vendredi à 17 h, à dimanche à 16 h, le parc Jacques-Cartier sera l’hôte d’une foule d’activités à saveurs locales. Dégustations, bas à bulles, bières et cocktails, soirée avec DJ live le samedi et brunch le dimanche. Plusieurs ateliers seront aussi offerts avec des chefs reconnus tels Jean Soulard, Daniel Charbonneau et Stéphane Lo Ré. Une nouveauté cette année: le défi « découvrir l’ingrédient mystère » lors d’une dégustation de bouchées. Ceux qui auront réussi participeront à un tirage dont le premier prix est un souper gastronomique à domicile pour huit personnes concocté par le chef de la Taverne 1855, Éric Garand.
Aller admirer les cavaliers et leur monture
Le Bromont CCI est un concours équestre complet où des cavaliers de partout dans le monde viennent démontrer leurs talents et ceux de leurs magnifiques montures. Parcours à obstacles, concours d’agilité et d’obéissance, seront présentés aux spectateurs. Une belle occasion pour les amateurs de sports équestres et les amoureux des chevaux en général de venir encourager les participants.
Participer à une première
C’est samedi que le Marché public d’été de Granby lance officiellement sa saison. Plus de 25 étals de produits d’agriculteurs et d’artisans à découvrir, et une terrasse nouvellement installée sur le site pour dîner. Vous pourrez entre autres visiter les kiosques de Pascal Lapointe Maraîcher, Les Petits fruits du clocher et le vignoble Miltonia. De 8 à 14 h, au 180 rue Principale.
Assister à un concert… tout de blanc vêtu
Le Concert en blanc de l’Harmonie de Coaticook est un événement aussi beau pour les oreilles qu’il ne l’est pour les yeux. Le concert, qui a lieu au parc Chartier ce samedi à 18 h 30, attire chaque année plus de 400 personnes. Pourquoi ne pas en profiter pour pique-niquer sur les lieux, juste avant? Et si vous vous prend soudainement l’envie d’une bière fraîche après le spectacle, vous trouverez de quoi satisfaire votre soif à la Microbrasserie Coaticook située non loin du parc. Dépêchez-vous par contre, elle ferme à 21 h!
