12 Hiking Outings in the Eastern TownshipsWhat to do this weekend?

Pour le week-end du 8 au 9 juillet, Tourisme Brome-Missisquoi vous propose des idées vraiment chouettes pour organiser votre week-end, même à la toute dernière minute!
Depuis qu’on peut les trouver dans les épiceries, on entend de plus en plus parler des vins québécois. Mais avez-vous déjà visité un vignoble d’ici? Ce week-end représente l’occasion parfaite pour partir à la découverte du berceau de la viticulture du Québec. En effet, 14 vignobles de Brome-Missisquoi vous ouvriront grand les bras dans le cadre de l’activité « Portes ouvertes sur La Route des vins ».
Toute la fin de semaine, les vignerons seront disponibles pour vous rencontrer et vous faire visiter leurs installations. Vous pourrez profiter de cette rencontre privilégiée pour poser vos questions aux producteurs et en apprendre davantage sur la viticulture au Québec. De plus, chaque vignoble participant proposera deux à quatre produits à déguster, et ce, tout à fait gratuitement.
Se laisser tenter par des produits d’ici
L’événement « Portes ouvertes sur la Route des vins », c’est aussi une belle occasion de goûter aux saveurs locales des Cantons-de-l’Est puisque certains vignobles offriront de bonifier votre expérience avec la dégustation de produits locaux. C’est notamment le cas du Vignoble Gagliano qui proposera une dégustation de fromages, et de l’entreprise UNION LIBRE cidre et vin, qui offrira les divins produits du traiteur Diablement Bon, de Farnham.
Pour dîner, n’hésitez pas à arrêter dans une boulangerie ou une épicerie fine sur la route afin de vous composer un pique-nique de saveurs locales que vous pourrez déguster au vignoble même. Pour une vue exceptionnelle, rendez-vous au papillon monarque géant du Domaine des Côtes d’Ardoise ou encore au Vignoble Val Caudalies. Le soir venu, laissez-vous charmer par l'inventivité des chefs créateurs des Cantons-de-l’Est.
Maximiser son plaisir
Pour une expérience optimale, nous conseillons de visiter trois à quatre vignobles par jour. Comme il y en a 14, peut-être souhaiterez-vous maximiser votre expérience en réservant une nuitée dans un hébergement à proximité. Sachez que plusieurs hébergements de la région offrent des forfaits thématiques « Route des vins ». Tous les détails se trouvent dans la section « forfaits » du site web de La Route des vins.
Bonne route et n’oubliez pas d’apporter une glacière afin de garder vos achats au frais ainsi que de l’eau pour rester hydraté!
