Vignoble de l'Orpailleur-ÉCONOMUSÉE de la Vigne et du Vin

Centrally located on the wine route, the Vignoble de l’Orpailleur was established in 1982. We owe our designation to the singer Gilles Vigneault who named our first crop l’Orpailleur, a French term for “someone who pans for gold.” For the past 30 years, the Vignoble de l’Orpailleur has been praised for its fine wines. Our mandate: to share our knowledge and passion. By visiting, you will discover a vineyard with all the colour and charm of the Eastern Townships on a magnificent 30-acre property, a vine and wine Economuseum where a multitude of information is offered, guided visits with tastings, the Tire-Bouchon restaurant and two multi-purpose halls where vitality and beauty inspire great ideas!
