Sainte-Anne-de-la-Rochelle

The parish of Sainte-Anne-de-la-Rochelle was founded in 1856 by several families of Irish and Loyalist origins. It has been recognized for numerous years as a pilgrimage destination with its church dedicated to Saint Anne, its grotto, sanctuary, and nearby roadside cross. Here, you can become familiar with sea buckthorn and with donkey-milk-based products, the latter of which provide excellent body care. If you are fortunate, you may encounter exotic animals: Tigers, lions, monkeys…. Sainte-Anne-de-la-Rochelle is full of surprises!
