Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley

Not far from Sherbrooke, in the direction of Magog, is Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley, a municipality of French-language origin, founded in 1901. On high ground, the village provides a stunning panoramic view of Mount Orford, the Katevale marsh, and Lake Magog below. In the heart of the village, the Auberge Campagnarde de Sainte-Catherine is a must stop for those appreciating regional products, while a mysterious manor welcomes groups looking for chills and thrills. Country roads also lead to Piggery Theatre, near North Hatley, which presents English-language plays in the summer.
