Sainte-Sabine

Established in 1921 and located on the St. Lawrence plain in the northwest section of the Brome-Missisquoi region, the municipality of Sainte-Sabine is relatively level and homogeneous. It is located in the watershed of Missisquoi Bay with the exception of a small portion that is part of the Yamaska River watershed. Agriculture occupies 83% of the territory due to the quality of its soil. The population has been on the rise since 1981 and this increase is partially explained by the arrival of young families and its geographic position near the urban areas of Farnham, Cowansville and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
