Ancestral residence, built in 1840, owned at the time by Mr. Knowlton. The house has kept its original cachet with its outstanding woodwork, beams and incredible fireplace. Transformed to a B&B in 1992, the residence was extended and refurbished in 1999. The addition of a bathroom in each room was an asset and today, l’Ancestral Knowlton is still one of its own. If you notice, on the side of the house, you can see the first Knowlton train station. Your new hosts, Maryse and Rock, are enthusiastic to be able to welcome you in their cozy home.
