The very first edition of the Mondial des vitraux de glace will take place from February 18 to 20, 2011. Immerse yourself in a magical world by discovering stained ice windows, unique to North America. Located in the heart of Dunham, the stained ice window exhibition and its activities for the whole family will provide lots of new things to do in the region. |

| Family activities Participate as a family in a torch lit snowshoe outing, get an introduction to snowscooting with an internationally renowned athlete from Dunham, take a djembe workshop or skate on the ice oval created especially for the occasion. To discover or rediscover Dunham’s roots, what could be better than listening to a storyteller recount some of the town’s history, or warming up in front of an outdoor fire facing several points of interest? |

A sub-zero experience! With the stained ice windows in close proximity to the outdoor fireplaces, you’ll be delighted by the beauty of the windows featured in the Mondial des vitraux de glace. Just like the children from Dunham’s school who will participate in the event by making stained ice windows, the town’s citizens and business are also invited to create their own. Information sessions on designing stained ice windows will be offered free to anyone interested. |
