BIG CHANGE AT SUTTON

As of next skin season, the management of the Mount Sutton Ski Station will operate its ski school which used to be operated by a subcontractor. Therefore, Mount Sutton opens to a new era with the nomination of Isabelle Emond as head of the SUTTON Snow School

Ms. Isabelle Emond combines an extensive experience of monitor, coach and in management of school of ski. She notably worked for stations Vallée Bleue, Bromont and SUTTON. She also got involved in the Alliance of the Ski Monitors of Canada (A.M.S.C), helping to establish the Program for young skiers and as part of the Quebec Committee. Then she was coach and instructor during several years in New Zealand.

« With Isabelle joining our team, we will develop new products and programs which will meet the needs of our customers and provide them with a great ski experience at the station. » says Jean-Michel Ryan, General Manager at SUTTON.

Ms. Emond well intends to rely upon her great experience within the ski industry here and abroad: « My goal is to have our customers live a ski or snowboard experience like nowhere else in a mountain where snow, trails, monitors and ambiance are like nowhere else! », says Isabelle Émond.

The combination of Ms. Emond’s experience and energy will indeed contribute to the success of the SUTTON Snow School and to the satisfaction of the customers. Customers are invited to keep an eye on future developments coming to the school.

The SUTTON Snow School has more than100 skilled monitors and will offer different programs adapted to the beginners as well as to advanced skiers who want to improve their techniques and to take advantage of the various terrains such as the trails and the glades at the station. Beginners appreciate particularly the « Marvellous Woods » to develop their skills and advanced skiers the lessons given specifically in the glades. The School will offer private lessons, for one or more skiers, as well as group lessons.
