Chef Hans Christiner offers a seasonal menu in the European tradition with a unique touch of Asia. Formerly a country retreat, this century-old house still carries that vacation spirit with its comfortable rooms, delightful atmosphere, soothing fireplaces, and refined bar. Games to distract you and a reading room… and the beauty of the site lends itself to those who both love exercise and quiet contemplation (semi-Olympic pool, 115 acres of land with forest trails, private access to Brome Lake, 8 km from Knowlton, close to golf and ski hills).

On the menu

    Swiss chef and owner Hans Christiner changes his menu every month. Classic European cuisine with an occasional touch of the Far East. Dishes are often bold and inventive. Specialties include Québec game, fresh fish and seafood, and delicious slow-simmered dishes. Fresh local produce such as Brome Lake duck is a regular feature. Homemade desserts and bread.
