Home to several regional parks, four national ones and more than 900km of hiking trails, the region is crammed full of attractions to enjoy with family or friends. Calling all fresh water sailors! Lake Memphremagog, Lake Megantic, Lake Aylmer, Lake Massawippi. These scenic stretches of water can be explored any number of ways - by kayak, canoe, sailboat or on waterskis. (Lake Memphremagog also hosts an international swimming competition every summer.) These majestic fresh water lakes come alive in summer with the joyous shouts of excited children.
