A well-deserved break

The Eastern Townships welcome you and your whole family for a fun activity-filled week. Step into a majestic landscape as you enjoy a well-deserved holiday. Skiing is available on four of the region’s many mountains, namely, Orford, Owl’s Head, Sutton, and Bromont. Introductory ski lessons are delivered by certified instructors so, take this opportunity to learn the sport and slide down those hills with your family and friends. See our ski and accommodation packages.

Four mountains to ski, of course, but also four national parks. For snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or winter hiking, think of the Yamaska, Frontenac, Mont-Orford, or Mont-Mégantic national parks. The latter two offer torch-light snowshoeing evenings during March break. Equipment is available to rent on site. Take advantage of the great outdoors to play outside!

Granby Zoo

New this year! Come skate in the heart of the Village on our 300 m2 refrigerated outdoor rink! Our skating surface will be accessible from December 26 to March 12. As you walk along the paths, put your knowledge to the test with our interactive rally! Twelve stations invite you to find out how much you know by taking on different challenges, answering questions and using all your senses.

Other family activities

Why not indulge in some snow tubing, an activity that is fun for all ages! The Parc du Mont Hatley in North Hatley, the Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook, the Parc du Mont-Bellevue in Sherbrooke, the Station touristique Baie-des-Sables in Lac-Mégantic, and Haut Bois Normand in Eastman are ideal locations to let yourself be swept away by fun.

Take advantage of March break to sharpen your skates and zip along the frozen paths on Lake Memphremagog in Magog and Boivin Lake in Granby.

The Sherbrooke Nature and Science Museum is offering a special program for March break. Experiments and animated activities await you there. Take the opportunity to visit the Musée des beaux-arts and the Société d’histoire de Sherbrooke. All three museums are just a few steps from one another.

If your kids prefer to stay warm but still want to burn some energy, introduce them to the Grimpe et Partou family amusement centre in Granby. Also, during this special week, come visit Relâche ton fou! event at the Sherbrooke Exhibition Centre and play in the inflatable games and indoor amusement rides.
