Family camping…is in the Eastern Townships!

Situated in the Eastern Townships, at 20 minutes, South of Sherbrooke, CAMPING OF COMPTON is recognized for the quality of its infrastructures, the cleanliness of its installations and its outstanding customer services.

It also distinguishes itself by its amazing panorama and the big size of his 300 sites among which 40 sites are with direct entrance which allow us to welcome tents up to the biggest camping vehicles. Furthermore, four completely equipped caravans are also available for rent.

The numerous installations of leisure offered free at the Camping are very appreciated by families. Two heated swimming pools, watergames, a playground for the children, the courts of basketball, volleyball, bocceball and irons as well as a small golf 9 holes by 3 always well maintained make the happiness of all.  Adding to that free wireless internet.

The campers also appreciate the nearness of the services offered at the village of Compton, the multitude of sites agrotouristiques who characterize the Valley of Coaticook as well as the numerous attractions offered in the region and for which they benefit from discount.

Camping of Compton is one of the rare campsites to open its doors from the middle of April until middle of October.

Our website campingcompton.com is dynamic and contains a lot of information among which the plan of the campground, the photos of almost all the sites taken individually as well as as the prices and the program of activities.  Our Facebook page promote our various rebates.

Camping of Compton, so much to enjoy that you will want to prolong the pleasure!

ARBRE SUTTON is an exciting tree top adventure center.  There are four levels of increasing difficulty – it is up to you just how far you go but count on three hours of fun and thrills.

There are zip lines, tightropes, balance logs and the unbelievable giant Tarzan swing. All this set in the natural beauty of the Sutton mountainside. The main circuit is a challenge ideal for adults and teenagers but there is also a circuit especially for children.

In addition to the aerial circuits there is also a 6km network of easy access, family orientated, hiking trails with interpretation panels - all set in a beautiful forest of mature trees.

If you and your family are keen hikers in search of something more challenging there is also access to a further 52km of trails in the  Parc d'environnement naturel de Sutton;  the hike up to Lake Mohawk is not to be missed.

Arbre Sutton became a co-operative in 2011. This move was the result of the desire of the community and the employees to take over and maintain the operation of this exciting local venture. Anyone can join the coop and enjoy attractive benefits whilst helping to support a young company whose mission is to provide a range of outdoor activities along with the utmost respect for the environment.

For more information on the full range of activities offered such as the proposed four-season rustic camping sites as well as the cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails, visit our website.

FOUR NATIONAL PARKS WELCOME YOU!

With your feet in the water and your head in the stars, experience nature with lakes and mountains as part of the surroundings. The four national parks in the Eastern Townships – FRONTENAC, MONT-MÉGANTIC, MONT-ORFORD, and YAMASKA – invite you to explore several kilometres of trails through the heart of nature, on foot or by bike.

Discovery activities for the entire family

Take part in our discovery activities led by a nature guide / park warden: guided hikes, end-of-evening talks, guided rabaska excursions, a journey into the history of astronomy, and children’s workshops. A variety of activities is offered to introduce you to the rich wildlife and flora found within these four parks.

Enjoy the seasons

In spring, experience the rebirth of nature; in summer, enjoy the great weather while exploring the natural habitats of different wildlife; and, once fall arrives, admire nature’s masterful performance as the trees turn to blazing colours.  A hike with family or friends is the perfect way to discover the parks in metamorphosis!

A stay reflecting your style

Ensure your stay reflects your style! Whether your perfect camping trip involves rustic camping, campgrounds (with or without services), canoe camping, a camp-ready Huttopia tent, a cottage, or a shelter, nature in all its splendour awaits your arrival! Our camping areas are accessible from May 11 to October 8, 2012.
