Day 1

  • Parking at the Parc de la Baie-de-Magog
  • Direction Magog-Ayers Cliff-Compton-North Hatley, 115 km
  • Follow the itinerary suggested on the cycling map
  • A stop at the bandstand in Ayer’s Cliff to take a breather and ponder your next move, the Tomifobia Nature Trail (40km round trip) or towards Compton and North Hatley
  • Don’t miss local products found along Routes 208 and 147
  • In Compton, turn right to discover the village centre and enjoy lunch
  • In North Hatley, spend the late afternoon browsing through shops and dine at one of the village’s fine restaurants.

Day 2

  • Two-day option: Direction North Hatley-Magog by following the itinerary on the cycling map
  • Three-day option, reaching Sherbrooke and spending the rest of the day
    • Browsing at the Marché de la gare public market and the Lac des Nations
    • Enjoying the charms of Wellington Street
    • Attending the outdoor show “Omaterra” following dinner on one of Sherbrooke’s inviting terraces.

Day 3

  • Sherbrooke-Magog with two options:
  • Bypass Sherbrooke by taking the Axe de la Saint-François, the Axe du Ruisseau-Kee and the Axe de la Magog (86 km) over a variety of driving surfaces and sceneries, or
    • Enjoy a quiet ride back via the Axe de la Magog (35 km)
  • Take advantage of the lively activities both around Lake Memphremagog and in Magog’s downtown area to end your getaway in style.
