A slew of seasonal activities are on the agenda for this weekend. Get ready for some festive cheer - all over the Townships!

Find that special gift at the Salon de Noël d’Eastman

This weekend, fifteen Townships’ designers and artisans are getting together in Eastman to sell their wares at one of the few Christmas fairs that you’ll be able to visit in person, instead of ordering online. The Salon de Noël d'Eastman is a great opportunity to support the talented locals and you’ll find plenty of gift ideas!

December 5 and 6 (10am-4pm) | Salle Missisquoise, Eastman

Hunt for Santa’s little helpers

Instead of the traditional Santa Claus Parade, which, due to current health protocols, will not be taking place this year, downtown Sherbrooke has organized La Chasse aux lutins – a search for the elves who help Santa every Christmas season. From December 4 onwards, you can wander around CentrÔville looking for clues displayed in the windows of empty commercial buildings, following in the footsteps of the jolly man in red….

From December 4 | Downtown Sherbrooke

Learn how to make seasonal decorations

Sherbrooke’s museums, in partnership with the Chemin des Cantons (The Townships Trail), is offering do-it-yourself workshops every Saturday in December. This weekend, for example, Sherbrooke’s History Museum will show you how to craft a pompom for special occasions. The craft demonstrations will take place on the specific museum and Townships Trail’s Facebook pages. (Saturday mornings at 10am.) Time to start wielding those scissors!
