The Eastern Townships are the host of many cultural events this year. Here are the dates to write down in your agenda.

Céramystic

From June 21 to July 1, the ceramists will amaze you! This year, the event will be held at the Rozynski Art Centre located in the hamlet of Way's Mills in West Barnston. Creative activities for the family and demonstrations will be held. Come and have a nice picnic or taste the BBQ menu. Refreshments will also be available on site.

Musée des Beaux-Arts de Sherbrooke

Two unique exhibits open at the museum this spring: Marcel Barbeau, Vibrato and Véronique Béland – Collaboration Espace [IM] Média. Complementary activities, including guided tours and creative workshops for kids, are on the museum’s summer schedule, as well as a series of conferences about the exhibits.

Musée de l'ingéniosité J. Armand Bombardier

Discover the Inspiring NATURE, inspired TECHNO Biomimicry & Transport temporary exhibition. Explore how nature inspires some of the innovative technologies used in transportation. Discover close to thirty natural specimens and technological objects that share common principles, and manipulate interactive displays highlighting these concepts.

Musée de la nature et des sciences de Sherbrooke

Two new exhibitions will be presented at the Museum this summer! From June 21 to October 14, the Museum will be hosting an award-winning exhibition that comes straight from the Montreal Science Centre: GENIE AUTOCHTONE. If the exhibition has received an award, the natives should also receive one for their many inventions still in use today.

From July to September, open your ears wide and listen carefully... because this summer, at the Museum, SOUNDS are in the spotlight in the exhibition SON, QUE DU SON! You will be fully entertained, with the added bonus of knowledge about sound propagation, ear function and innovative acoustic technologies.

Bruck Museum (Cowansville)

In 2019, Bruck Museum celebrates the region’s rich textile heritage. Visit to discover Cowansville’s working class roots, as well as the intangible legacy of the Bruck Mills and textile industry in the Eastern Townships as a whole. The exhibition "PHOTO-SENSITIVITY" by Mariève Pelletier, which will be presented from May 16 to July 6, presents a series of works inspired by research on photography and fascination with textile materials.

Théâtre La Marjolaine (Eastman) - French language theatre

The year 2019 will mark the 60th summer of the Théâtre la Marjolaine! To celebrate, a new production of this classic created in Eastman in 1988, Les NONNES, will be presented all summer long starting June 20. Starring Dorothée Berryman, Chantal Lamarre, Caroline Lavigne, Lisa Palmieri, Rosie-Anne Bérubé-Bernier and Andy St-Louis, Les NONNES is a variety show with no real intrigue... The key here is to have fun. And they will!

Museum of Communications and History of Sutton

The Museum of Communications and History of Sutton is dedicated to promoting and preserving the socio-economic, cultural and industrial history of the Brome-Missisquoi region. For 2019, the museum has curated a retrospective of filmmaker Pierre Falardeau. A must-visit for movie lovers!

Réguines et Fantômes

Don't miss the historical animation Réguines et Fantômes, an investigation taking place on the Chemin des Cantons! The investigations will be held on July 13 and 20 as well as August 3 and 10 to allow you to discover the cause of the strange phenomena that are disrupting the historical route.
