What to do this weekend - October 27-28

Not sure how you want to spend your weekend? We’ve got some great ideas for you!

Village d’Halloween d’Ayer’s Cliff

Halloween is just around the corner and the village of Ayer’s Cliff will be decked out for the season. Starting at 1pm on Saturday, you can join in the fun. On the menu, a candy house, pumpkin carving workshop, a haunted house, a spooky walking trail through the forest, a costume competition, games, entertainment and perhaps even a witch or two!

Pumpkins galore!

Don’t have any pumpkins yet? No problem. You can find them all over the place at markets and farms throughout the region. While you’re there, you’ll be able to stock up on fresh, seasonal produce and sample some delicious local fare (like the yummy apple pies from the Verger Le Gros Pierre)!

Treat yourself to a day of relaxation

The end of the autumn season is often a good time to rest and relax. Visit one of the many spas in our region or treat yourself to a day of cocooning, away from the stresses of home.

Marché Écolo #verslezerodechet

If you’re a fan of the Zero Waste lifestyle, head to the marché écolo #verslezerodechet , an ‘environmentally friendly’ market at the La Grillade sugar shack in St-Alphonse-de-Granby. 40 exhibitors will be on hand, as well as several guest speakers (10am-4pm). By the way, entrance is free!

Enduro-Maaxx

Are you keen on mountain biking? The last enduro race of the season will be held in Bromont this weekend. Whether you’re a professional or an amateur, the race is open to all. Registration and practice runs will be held on Saturday (from 9am onwards). The race itself is on Sunday, starting at 9am.
