In addition to trying out these unusual sports, visitors can enjoy tubing, dog-sledding, free hot drinks, a fire pit, games and taffy on snow. Winter pleasures indeed, especially for families. Eastman certainly offers something for every age!

Attend the opening of the exhibition Empreintes d’Humanité

Discover the work of visual artists Josette Villeneuve and Sophie Roy at the Yvonne L. Bombardier Cultural Centre. Villeneuve focuses on environmental and humanitarian issues, while Roy examines our notion of tradition, by combining archival images with photographs of today’s urban landscapes.

Vernissage : Sunday, January 20 at 2pm | Exhibition runs from January 20-April 14, 2019 | Yvonne L. Bombardier Cultural Centre, Valcourt.

Be educated as well as entertained at Sherbrooke’s Museum of Nature and Science

An exhibition entitled ILLÉGAL, Le trafic animal, about the illegal trafficking of animals, allows visitors to pick out a particular country and go on a kind of adventure. The challenge is to enjoy the animals native to the destination without being tempted to bring back a souvenir that might prove to be illegal. The exhibition educates visitors (but in an entertaining manner) about animals threatened by illegal trafficking.

ILLÉGAL, Le trafic animal (January 12-June 9, 2019) | Cost - $13 (adults) and $9 (children aged 4-17).
