This summer, the Brome Lake region has launched a new initiative highlighting its artisans’ know-how: La Grande Tablée, are culinary events offering its participants unique gastronomical experiences set inside bucolic environments.

This first edition, held on the site of four of the region’s producers (Vitalité Sureau, Léon Courville Vigneron, Brome Lake Ducks and Les Argousiers du Lac-Brome) was an enormous success… So much so, that new dates and venues will soon be added to please all foodies.

The Concept

Brome Lake’s La Grande Tablée is a true golden opportunity for discovering the region’s producers and chefs. The concept is simple: Participants are invited to enjoy a 5-course gastronomical menu, concocted by a renowned chef, on the property of a regional producer. The chef’s mission is to showcase the hosts’s feature product and Brome Lake’s local flavours. The area holds a great variety and quantity of food and is well known for its agritourism offer and quality products! For this first edition, elderberries, wine, duck and sea buckthorn were the event’s star products.

A Not-to-Be-Missed Foodie Experience

Guests participating in La Grande Tablée were delighted with their experience, as exquisite flavours, amazing encounters with producers, breathtaking landscapes and a festive ambiance blended together perfectly.
