Archaeological Display

Mar 15, 2011 ~ Dec 31, 2018

From March 15th, 2011 till Mai 1st, 2020.

Since the first archaeological dig in the region half a century ago, numerous discoveries have enabled archaeologists to learn more about the Amerindians who spent time in the region before the arrival of the first Europeans. Our new display on regional archaeology features some of the most impressive discoveries and retraces the short history of the pioneers in the field who contributed to the development of archaeology in the Eastern Townships. Check out the Museum team’s latest achievement; it will take you back to the days of the Amerindians.
