Acquisitions: What’S New?

This event is over.
Nov 3, 2022 ~ Mar 6, 2023

The Museum conserves and preserves objects related to its mission, i.e. to keep the legacy of Joseph Armand Bombardier alive as a source of inspiration for future generations. Its team of experts manages a collection of over 3 500 objects and more than 3 709 boxes containing various archival records.

The acquisition committee has relied on selection criteria such as relevance to its mission, historical value, and rarity to acquire a batch of 297 objects and documents specific to the Moto-Ski brand. The objects showcased illustrate Bombardier’s evolution, particularly with respect to its vertical integration strategy at the turn of the 1970s. Some of these objects are very rare and virtually impossible to find on the market. Discover a few!
