SEE THE ITINERARY

Centre d'interprétation de l'ardoise

Located in an intimate and cozy church dating back to 1889, the Center offers five theater readings. A theater reading is a performance during which actors, without the support of sets, costumes and lighting interpret the text of an author with all their sensitivity and their art creating the climate necessary to listen to classic or contemporary works. For these plays, Matieu Gaumond, professor at the Quebec Conservatory of Dramatic Art, has secured the collaboration of talented professional actors. He chose the following authors: Stefan Sweig, Blaise Cendrars, Nicole-Marie Rheault (creation), Edward Albee, Jules Renoir, Arthur Schnitzler. See list of works and dates on our website.
