Saint-Camille

Renowned for its community and rural innovative initiatives, Saint-Camille, one of the first francophone villages of the Eastern Townships, was founded in 1848. At the heart of the town and on the Townships Trail, we discover buildings dating back to 1875 such as the Épicerie-Sylvie with its loggia-style architecture, the church and the presbytery.

An Endearing Village

Le P’tit Bonheur, named in honour of the famous singer-song writer Félix Leclerc, is a true jewel and the pride of the village. The cultural and community centre, this one-time general store is known throughout Quebec not only for its famous performance hall, but also for its art gallery, its rural interpretation centre, and its Friday lunchtime pizza! A dynamic living environment, Saint-Camille now has its own family walking path and more than 4 km of trails for nature lovers.
