These products are available in grocery stores, from farmer’s markets, Cafés de village coffee houses, in fine restaurants, as well as in eight tourist welcome bureaus and information offices throughout the region. To date, more than 85 Créateurs de saveurs producers provide consumers with a “visa” to culinary discoveries in the Eastern Townships. From cheese makers to wine producers, chocolatiers to produce growers, these flavour designers are all passionate about their products and their wish to share them.

The Eastern Townships region is conducive to apple growing and boasts many orchards. The Verger Ferland, the Gros Pierre, the Versant Rouge and the Vergers de la Colline are but a few. These producers have found innumerable ways to tempt you with the fruits of their labours!

A myriad of bakeries and pastry shops can be found in the Eastern Townships. Biobon, the Maison Cannelle, the Mie bretonne, Green’s Bakery, and the Pâtisserie Duquette are among those that work tirelessly to offer you delicious treats! What better pairing for your bread than cheese? The cheese makers at La Station de Compton and at the Laiterie de Coaticook have what it takes to satisfy your palate!

If you enjoy meat and deli products, the Townships boasts a number of mouth-watering products offered by farms that breed rabbits, trout, grain-fed calves, and boars. Do you have a sweet tooth? Look for fine chocolates, maple products and honey. Treat yourself to flowers by purchasing products from  Rose des champs or even edible flowers cultivated by the Au cœur des saisons company.
