La Vallée du Moulin is the first greenhouse fig producer in Quebec. Located along the Salmon River in the picturesque Melbourne Township, this family business also produces organic maple syrup and honey, in addition to generating its own electricity with two micro-hydroelectric power stations.
Come and discover the basics of greenhouse fig cultivation as well as the history of La Vallée du Moulin and its facilities, narrated by a member of our family. The tour will take you through our valley, starting at the welcome pavilion, then to the dam and its micro-hydroelectric power station, and finally to the state-of-the-art greenhouses. A tasting of a selection of our products concludes the visit.
Guided tours are only available in French and last one hour and thirty minutes. It is possible to adapt the tour route according to your needs.
