There are some unmissable activities that attract big crowds … and for which you’ll absolutely need to reserve several weeks in advance so you can find out for yourself why they’re so popular. Let’s take a look at some of these Eastern Townships flagship attractions that are already taking reservations to welcome you this summer.
Foresta Lumina, an illuminated 2.6 km nocturnal path set inside the Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook, invites you to enter its enchanted world! Here, through the magic of scenography, lighting effects and soundtrack, all kinds of fantastic creatures come to life. Small and tall alike will be delighted by this outdoor forest experience, which will also take you across the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America.
Activity available from June 21 to July 31, 2024 (Monday, Wednesday to Saturday), August 1 to August 31, 2024 (Monday, Wednesday to Saturday), September 1, 2024, and weekends in September and October until October 13th, 2024.
Discover everything there is to know about the life of fish through this great interactive adventure offered by the Parc Découverte Nature. Take on different challenges in order to create the biggest school of fish for one of the four species farmed here. Visit the fish farm, initiate yourself to fishing in a pond, and enjoy preparing your catch on the grills of their gourmet station, an activity also included in this family outing.
Activity available on weekends from May 18 to June 16, 2024, and daily from June 22 to August 25, 2024. Also available on weekends from August 31 to October 14, 2024.
This summer, come aboard the Grand Cru to enjoy one of the Escapades Memphrémagog’s three cruises (with or without meals). While enjoying the legendary Lake Memphremagog, you’ll be treated to the most breathtaking landscapes, musical performances and some wonderful moments spent with your loved ones.

Almost exclusive access to the top of a mountain, to watch the sun set and rise peacefully over the region’s magnificent landscapes are two excellent reasons why a mountain top camping activity, organized by the Parc Régional du Mont Ham, is so popular. In fact, several dates in the summer of 2024 have already been completely booked … so hurry!

Unique in Canada, at the Au Diable Vert mountain resort in Sutton, their VéloVolant activity will have you pedal at the top of the trees along a one-kilometre circuit. Comfortably seated in a small suspended bike-like vehicle, you’ll advance following your own pace as you push the pedals while you gaze in awe at all the beauty surrounding you!
Activity offered on weekends starting from May 4, 2024 and every day starting from May 18 until October 20, 2024.
The ObservÉtoiles, another activity offered by Au Diable Vert mountain resort, is the first open-air augmented reality planetarium where each show is adapted to the changing reality of the night. With your augmented reality headset and the presence of an astronomer, you’ll discover the wonders of the night sky.
Starting June 22 until September 1, 2024 (Sunday). Activity mainly offered Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Riding a zipline down Mount Sutton, visiting the Parc National du Mont-Mégantic’s ASTROLab, river rafting at Station O’Kataventure and at Canoe & Co, enjoying Upland’s English tea time… Although it’s not yet possible to reserve these activities, places will fill up quickly! If you’re planning to experience one of these, keep watching for when reservations are possible again.
