Inaugurated in 1957, the Saint-Michel Basilica-Cathedral proudly overlooks the city of Sherbrooke. Inspired by Gothic architecture, the building is characterized by its majestic arches and pointed windows. The Cathedral Basilica is dedicated to Archangel Michael. Many works can be admired, including the magnificent stained-glass windows of the nave and the choir. The visit includes access to the Blessed Marie-Léonie Paradis shrine and museum in her honor. The archbishop chapel, painted by the Ozias Leduc is open to visitors ($5/person).
Because of the situation, different establishments have had to close temporarily, or modify their operating hours. We suggest you contact them before leaving home.
