Initiate Yourself to Ice Climbing

Parc de la gorge de Coaticook

Try something new by learning how to ice climb at the Parc de la gorge de Coaticook. Accessible as much to beginners as to experts, eight walls of ice with altitudes varying from 25 to 50 metres, will offer you quite an adrenaline rush and exceptional panoramic views! Climbing is possible Saturdays and Sundays from 11 :00 a.m. to 4 :00 p.m. from mid-January to mid-March.

Sit down to a good meal

Microbrasserie Coaticook

Are you feeling a little peckish? Visit the Microbrasserie Coaticook. From chicken and bacon mac and cheese to Big Mac-style poutine and mini-Korean corn dogs, there’s something for everyone. And don’t forget to try the house specialty: Their craft beers, of course!

Sleep in a Yurt

Auberge du changement d’ère

Head to Auberge du Changement d’ère for a night’s stay in their unusual lodging proposal, inside a comfortable and quite original yurt. Located a few steps from the Parc de la gorge de Coaticook, surrounded by a quiet and an inspiring nature, you’ll sleep the soundest of sleeps here.

Fill Up on Energy

Les Enfants Terribles Restaurant

To start the day out well, find your way to the restaurant Les Enfants Terribles, in Magog. Sit down in front of a delicious plate of French toast, eggs Benedictine, an omelette or one of their menu specialties, such as a breakfast poutine or homemade blood sausage on toast. Offered Saturdays and Sundays until 3:00 p.m., the brunch menu will surely give you all the energy you’ll need for an action-packed day!

Try Uphill skiing

Mont-Orford’s ski centre

Experience Mont-Orford in a totally different way. With a pair of skis using climbing skins, you can access uphill ski trails all the way to the summit while working up a good sweat! After you’ve enjoyed the view, you can go down the slopes of Mont-Orford’s ski centre. You don’t have the proper equipment? No worries! The Vincent Renaud Ski-Vélo boutique, at the base of the ski hill, offers complete equipment rentals to practise this sport.

Satisfying your sweet tooth

Located right next to Mount Orford, the new branch of Dora Boulangerie Artisanale is the perfect place to enjoy a comforting break after a great outdoor outing! Here they offer delicious barista coffees, perfect for warming up after a fun day outside. Are you feeling hungry for a snack? Savour a freshly prepared sweet treat or a sandwich made right here on site.
