Reach the Highest Summit of the Townships

Not afraid of a new challenge? Then head out to Mount Gosford in the Mégantic region. When you reach the top of the mountain, you’ll discover a panorama that will have you forget all about the effort you put in to get here! With its 1,193 metres in altitude, Mount Gosford constitutes Quebec’s 7th highest summit and offers an amazing 3600 view.

Initiate Yourself to Vegetarian Cuisine

We know that a vegetarian diet is good for our planet. One excellent way to find inspiration if we’re not in the habit of cooking without using animal proteins is to go see (and taste) what our vegetarian restaurants offer. In fact, you’ll discover plenty of options in the Townships! Most of them have take-out menus.

More than ever it’s time we encourage our local businesses. Therefore, we heartily recommend that you visit one of the Townships independent bookstore. Quebec litterature, children's books, mystery novels, every book enthusiats will find something he likes!

Savour Hot Cider for the First Time

There’s no finer moment than when you’re sitting around a campfire savouring a delicious cup of hot cider! You should first choose an excellent cider—Plenty of them are produced in the Townships! —, heat it with a couple of cinnamon sticks, some cloves, an orange slice or two … and a little dark rum, if you wish. Then, enjoy!
