The Domaine des Érables campground in Brome Lake is open year-round, and every winter welcomes many fishing amateurs, who come here to fill up on perch and other cold water treats. It’s possible to rent a shack along with all the necessary equipment!

Only five parks belonging to the Sépaq network can count ice fishing among their winter activities. We’re in luck, because the Parc national de la Yamaska is proud to be among these! The helpful staff will provide the necessary equipment and also drill holes in the ice for you. They even have a family package which includes an ice fishing initiation session and a shelter. Really cool!

A favourite family destination the Parc Découverte Nature in Coaticook offers two winter activities that will hook you on the sport: Acoatica, their immersive survival game, and ice fishing with all the equipment you’ll need. The entrance fee includes a fish, access to the ponds and training to learn the proper practices for the sport.

The ice fishing specialty outfitter Activités plein air Philipsburg will provide you with a shack and all the equipment you’ll need for a great day of fishing on majestic Lake Champlain. The smaller shacks can welcome from 4 to 6 guests, and the larger ones, perfect for fishing tournaments or family gatherings, can hold up to 20 people!

2 metres, 20 seconds, a face covering... You know the drill. This summer, we all need to do our part to make this vacation season both enjoyable and responsible.
(In fact, I can even stand apart.)
(Anyways in #touristmode, I'm in no hurry!)
(Ring ahead to avoid the crowd... it’s that simple!)
(I promise... this is no time to joke around.)
Together - For a safe vacation - Let’s be responsible.
