Every weekend in October, the Zoo de Granby gets into the spirit of the season! Costumed characters, thematic decorations, shows and special activities are all on the program. Dress up and take advantage of the many photo-zones to immortalize these special moments.

Looking for a challenge? Put on your finest costumes and try your hand at the hectare-long maze at Topher Farm! Will you be able to master the challenges and find your way out again?

The Laboratoire de l’effroi of Lac Boivin, A True Horror Lab!

Oh, dear! A scientist has tried a new experiment that has gone horribly wrong at the Centre d’interprétation de la nature du lac Boivin... All humans and other species have been transformed into zombies! Will you be able to help the scientists who’ve remained unharmed in their lab to find a remedy? This is the task awaiting you this Halloween evening. Dressed in your fanciest costume, you’ll be able to take part in the many activities offered on site: face painting, scientific experiments, scary tales... Here’s what’s planned for you!

A Dinner-show at the Manoir aux Mystères

Fancy eating dinner in a mysterious house with a sinister atmosphere? Strange characters will greet you behind the barred windows of this creepy mansion and serve you a selection of fondue dishes (there are a number of menu choices) – all very strange and quirky!

Places are limited so it is recommended that reservations be made as far in advance as possible- especially if for a special event.

Paleontology at the Musée de la Nature et des Sciences de Sherbrooke

Sherbrooke’s Nature and Science Museum invites you to join in its Fear Day celebrations. What is a phobia? What’s behind all the fears? During the last two weekends of October, you’re invited to attend a fascinating discussion on the subject of fear. Come wearing a costume to make the atmosphere even more magical!

Horror Films to Watch at the Movie Theatre

A classic, of course, but always a lot of fun: watching a horror film on the big screen! New this year at the Maison du cinéma: a triple bill for Halloween. Three horror films will be shown back-to-back on the big screen. Those who love a good suspense story or a thriller are in for a treat! And if you attend this presentation, you’ll also be eligible to win a ticket giving you VIP access to the LUX screening room for the next 6 months! October 27 and 28 | 6:30 p.m. | $23 per ticket

A festive dual programming at l'Étang Burbank

On October 28 and 29, Halloween and the Festival des oiseaux migrateurs are coming together at the Burbank Pond to offer a festive weekend for families and birdwatchers in the region! Bonfires, crafts and food stands, children’s activities, live music, walks around the lake and bird-of-prey demonstrations are sure to delight all participants.

Dare the thrill of Laser Game Evolution

Attention thrill seekers! A whole night of laser tag is waiting for you this Halloween! As well as being able to play until sunrise, you’ll enjoy Halloween-style entertainment and maybe even win the best costume contest! Be on your guard... Evil creatures may be lurking in the dark! Sweets and other surprises will ease the dose of excitement you’ll experience. Come and join in the fun!

Try Cowansville’s Haunted House

If you’re really up for a thrill, come and experience Cowansville’s Haunted House. Venture among the frightful characters, monsters and mythical creatures and discover what lurks behind the walls of the town hall. To complete your visit, bring a non-perishable food item that will be donated to a food bank, and for even more magic, arrive in costume! Are you brave enough?

Starting October 19, Sherbrooke will be getting into the Halloween spirit! Homes and businesses all over the city are putting up their best (and scariest) Halloween decorations, and you’re invited to check them out! Follow the interactive map to see where the most beautiful Halloween decorations can be found, and take part in the monstrous trail!

Explore the Halloween Trail

Beware, you might be frightened... Once again, this year the Sentier d’Halloween is back in Saint-Denis-de-Brompton. With its fun, spooky ambiance, entertainment and trick-or-treating, it will definitely be a festive evening! From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the Trail will be set up so that the little ones can get in on the fun as well! But be warned, from 8:00 p.m. onwards, the trail will be reserved for the bravest visitors only... Are you ready to take on the Halloween Trail?

Witches at the Marché de la Gare

For its last public market of the 2023 season, the Marché de la Gare will be transformed into a witches’ haven. Come and support local producers while celebrating Halloween! Costumed characters, candy and treats, free face painting for all ages—come and get into the Halloween spirit at the Marché de la Gare!

Halloween party for everyone

If you think of Halloween as a time to have fun with friends and family, then the Halloween party at Espace Loisirs Brompton is the activity that’s right for you. Inflatable games, bingo, bubble soccer, archery, arts and crafts... Dress up in your best costumes and take part in the activities offered. In addition, you’ll have the chance to win a prize consisting of 5 kg of sweets! Something to satisfy your sweet tooth for sure!
