The Pond Trail (Sentier de l'Étang)

Nature Eastern Townships - Johnville Bog and Forest Park

The Pond Trail serves as an introduction to the Johnville Bog & Forest Park. Located near the parking area, the trail presents a brief overview of peat bog ecology and the phenomenon of deglaciation. Admire the peat bog from two viewpoints. Understand how nature and culture are closely linked by stopping near the water catchment building that dates from the beginning of the last century. The boardwalks have recently been renovated. Come and enjoy!
