Parc national du Mont-Mégantic

On the Mont-Mégantic loop, hikers can observe the vegetation, which differs at various altitudes, from sugar maple and yellow birch to balsam fir and mountain wood sorrel. The grey jay, the hiker’s favourite bird, is a common sight at the peak. At the summit, there are two astronomical observatories. Dogs on a leash permitted from mid-May to mid-October.
