Boucle du Dos d'Orignal

Parc d'environnement naturel de Sutton

A more primitive alternative to the Round Top trail offering many views of the surrounding valleys, and the opportunity for intensive exercise. Start by descending the Val-Sutton and then ascend to the Hollandais summit through a sugar maple-yellow birch stand. From the Hollandais summit, which offers panoramic views of the ski centre and Ruiter valley, the trail follows a ridge and is dotted with three lookouts offering panoramic views. At Dos D’Orignal, hikers may choose to return directly to the departure point by getting onto the Arrault trail, or to extend the journey by continuing to mount Gagnon (2.6 km longer). Dogs aren't permitted in this trail.
