The permanent exhibit of the Beaulne Museum tells the incredible story of the Norton family. The patriarch of the family, Arthus Osmore Norton, was born in the county of Barnston and began a career in the railway business in the 1880s. He became an industrial leader in the Eastern Townships and a great philanthropist. His sumptuous residence houses the museum. Built in 1912, it is truly a beautiful residence.
