The Circuit des Murales : Discover the History of Sherbrooke

Did you know that the charming city of Sherbrooke has several murals spread all around the downtown area? Well, yes! They present the cultural history of the city. The tour includes 18 murals that will transport you back to the 1950s, to discover people, businesses and events that have marked the city.

It’s an authentic open sky museum and an original way for you to learn more about the region. Plus, the tour can easily be completed on foot: It’s the perfect time to try new terraces or to visit some of the city’s new shops.

When you take the tour with your smart phone or tablet on which you have downloaded the MURALIS application, you can see the murals come to life in front of your eyes

Artria: The Route That Brings Together the World of Arts and Culture and the Great Outdoors

Here is an open sky museum that will absolutely amaze you. Artria is a cycling and tourism experience unique in Quebec. You will not only pedal your way across astonishing Eastern Township landscapes, but also discover over fifty sculptures created by artists from all around the world.

On the path, you will pass through five municipalities of the Eastern Townships (Granby, Waterloo, Bromont, Roxton Pond and Canton de Shefford) and discover five different cycling paths. Let yourself be charmed by these colourful, original and grandiose works of art

Plein’Art : Sutton’s Art Gallery Tour

The heart of the town of Sutton is made up of 120 visual arts and crafts artists, three art galleries and an eco-cultural park. This village is a true artistic jewel where passionate artists come together to offer you a unique art tour with Plein’Art. From Thursdays to Sundays, follow the painted panels set throughout the streets of Sutton and discover some truly magnificent creations.

The Tour des arts 2020

Initially planned between July 11 and July 19, as about forty artists and artisans from the towns of Knowlton, Sutton, West Brome, Bolton and Mansonville were to present their work, the Tour des arts 2020 edition won’t be held in its traditional format. Instead, 18 creative studios will welcome visitors by appointment all summer long. The workshops will be identified with a green flag. Let’s support local art!

The Circuit Art & Mosaïcultures

A gigantic bath ducky, a garden gnome, giant frogs, a dragon, floral frescoes... You’ll discover over fifteen mosaïculture installations on this circuit set right in the heart of Sherbrooke. The production groups 23 different floral varieties and more than 100,000 plants showcasing Sherbrooke’s landscape as it reveals different aspects of the city’s history.
