North Hatley

Founded in 1897, the village of North Hatley has been designated one of Quebec's most beautiful villages. Its breathtaking landscapes, architectural heritage, and village core reminiscent of days of yore are exceptional. The village developed at the northern end of Lake Massawippi, around a natural amphitheatre. In the late 19th century, the site's charm attracted lots of tourists from an array of places. North Hatley became a Townships hot spot for vacationers. Over the years, luxurious, century-old residences have been converted into charming inns, bed and breakfasts, and restaurants. The warm hospitality of hosts and the quality of the services provided are well-known. In terms of hotel accommodations, Manoir Hovey, Relais & Châteaux is internationally renowned. The art galleries, antique shops, boutiques, and cafés, including the Café de village Saveurs et Gourmandises delight visitors. Local attractions, along with others in the region, offer a vast array of activities for everyone to enjoy.
