Lake Massawippi

Throughout the season, several fishing tournaments are held here because of a marked presence of bass, perch and pike. With a surface area of 19 km², Lac Massawippi also happens to be one of the deepest in the region, with a depth reaching 76 metres in certain areas. If it’s the perfect spot to practice water sports in the summer, it’s also worth a visit in the fall when thousands of migratory birds descend upon the region before heading further south.

Because of the situation, different establishments have had to close temporarily, or modify their operating hours. We suggest you contact them before leaving home.
