Here are some suggestions for activities to enjoy during this final weekend in January.
If you like riding a fat bike, you’ll be happy to learn that a section of the Estriade bike trail that links Granby with Shefford – 13 km in total - is now accessible. Walkers are also welcome to use this portion of the trail.
Calling all you alpine skiers and snowboarders! There are numerous downhill trails where you can practise your swoops and turns at the Townships’ four ski centres - so dress warmly and head for the hills…By the way, most of the alpine hiking trails at the region’s ski centres are also open.
Just because dining establishments are currently closed (until January 30) doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy their delicious food! A good number of local restaurants are offering take-away meals/delivery services, among them Restaurant Auguste, Bistro Kóz, La Table du Chef, Chardo, Maison Boire, Microbrasserie Le Siboire and Auberge Ayer’s Cliff - just some of the places from which you can order something tasty!
Imagine spending a weekend at an ecolodge in a stunning natural setting? Doesn’t that sound appealing? Les Côteaux Missisquoi in St-Étienne-de-Bolton offers you exactly that. The charming accommodations (there are a variety of styles) are in the heart of a forested area where you can go hiking, either within the property or along the nearby Sentiers de l’Estrie (a network of trails) - as well as cross-country skiing. It’s the perfect place to unwind…Don’t delay in making a reservation! A few places are still available for February and March.
2 metres, 20 seconds, a face covering... You know the drill. This summer, we all need to do our part to make this vacation season both enjoyable and responsible.
(In fact, I can even stand apart.)
(Anyways in #touristmode, I'm in no hurry!)
(Ring ahead to avoid the crowd... it’s that simple!)
(I promise... this is no time to joke around.)
Together - For a safe vacation - Let’s be responsible.
