To experience a complete thermal treatment in the intimacy of a private chalet, sounds sweet to your ears? Well, this is exactly what Les Loges proposes, a thermal forest wellness retreat. Here’s an overview of this amazing establishment where you can take some time out from your daily grind. Psst! With the Holiday season approaching, this is also an excellent gift idea to offer your couple.
Les Loges consists of five small Scandinavian-style cottages located on large wooded lots in Fitch Bay in the Eastern Townships. Designed for two but able to accommodate four people, each lodge has its own dry sauna, steam room, spa and cold waterfall. They’re set far enough apart to offer you a private thermal treatment experience and will allow you to relax in complete intimacy. A massage therapy service is also available on the site to enhance your relaxation experience.
With its beautifully furnished and fully equipped interior, these lodges will have you truly savour the present moment. After a thermal therapy session, light the indoor fireplace and enjoy a good read by the warm, glowing flames or simply relax with an aperitif. If you don’t feel like cooking, the fine grocery shop Béret rouge, located two minutes from Les Loges, offers a wide range of local products and delicious ready-to-eat meals.
From the site of Les Loges, you can walk along the shores of Lake Memphremagog and admire the landscape here. If you feel like exploring the surrounding area, stop by the Narrows Covered Bridge, named because it spans across the narrowest part of Fitch Bay. You can also take a walk along the small country roads and maybe even be lucky enough to spot the miniature horses of the Les minis chevaux du Roy stables. If you’re looking for a more urban activity, you’ll find the towns of Stanstead, Ayer’s Cliff and Magog are all located within 15 minutes of Les Loges, and where you’ll discover a great variety of attractions.
