Did you think that all the foodie gatherings and festivals would end with the summer holidays? Well, surprise! Two extraordinary events are waiting for you in September in the Eastern Townships! Discover them here.
When: September 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9 2018
Taste the fruits of our cider makers, winemakers, alcohol producers and agri-food artisans’ hard work, by participating in the 25th edition of the Fête des Vendanges Magog-Orford! Tastings, cooking demonstrations, conferences, culinary workshops for children, yoga sessions, musical performances, food trucks… Plus, many surprises have been promised to celebrate the silver anniversary of the feast!
So why not extend your summer vacation? The Fête des vendanges, is “THE” epicurean gathering for the Magog area!
When: September 15 and 16 2018
Walk through the amazing Compton landscape and find out what the people in the area are feeding themselves with. The Comptonales, is an epicurean route grouping eight stations, from the Gros-Pierre orchard to the Vallons Maraîchers, by way of Verger Ferland and the fine cheese makers of la Station de Compton. As you arrive at each destination, the producers will invite you to discover what they’re so impassioned about! If you ask them nicely, they will even let you taste the fruits of their labour and their passion.
With your family or with your friends, this is a deliciously local event, not to be missed, where artisans, musicians and entertainers come together to offer you an unequalled experience.
