Free fishing during the Fête de la pêche

During the Fishing Festival, an annual, province-wide event (this year it runs from June 7 - 9), visitors can fish for free, without having to purchase a licence. Several municipalities will be seeding their lakes and streams with thousands of fish and there will be special activities across the region at locations such as Parc Découverte Nature (free entrance on June 8) and Yamaska National Park where you can fish for free at the Choinière Reservoir. A new temporary exhibition at the Museum of Ingenuity J. Armand Bombardier

In a nutshell, it is a group of people who get together to make unusual things. During this exhibition you’ll learn more about this global movement and the projects dreamed up by Fab Labs across the world. Some examples include a simple, 3D printer manufactured from recycled computer parts, a bicycle made of wood and an easy-to-reproduce PVC plastic prosthetic foot….. a fascinating exhibition that will appeal to budding inventors and the general public alike!
